Piano

Junior 1 - ages 8 to 12
(Playing total time: Maximum 15 minutes)

First Round
-   One Etude of free choice
-       One fast movement from a classical sonata.(No repeats)

Second Round
   • One slow, lyrical work like a nocturne, intermezzo song without words.
   • One piece of choice 

Junior 2 - ages 13 to 16
(Playing total time: 15-25 minutes)

First Round
- Any composition of Bach 
- One Etude of Virtuosity

Second Round
- Any movement from a sonata by Mozart, Haydn, or Beethoven (without repeats)
- Remaining time is the candidate’s choice of repertoire  

Strings
Junior 1 - ages 8 to 12

First Round
- One Etude of free choice
- Piece up to 4-6 minutes, at the participant's choice.

Second Round
-       One contrasting free choice piece from the first round up to 4-6 min.
-       1st mov of a free choice concerto

Junior 2 - ages 13 to 16

First Round 
1. Two Movements of any, unaccompanied or with piano, of the compositions by J. S. Bach, G.F.Händel, G.P. Telemann, P.A.Locatelli
2. One Etude or Caprice of free choice (memory request?)

Second Round
1. A virtuoso piece of the participant's choice, solo or with piano accompaniment (maximum 10 minutes)
2. 1st mov of a free choice concerto (to be performed by memory?) 
 
 
Winds
 
Junior 1 - ages 8 to 12
(The total playing time is a maximum of 10 minutes.)
 
First Round
One slow piece to be performed by the participants choice 
 
Second Round
One fast piece to be performed by the participants choice
 
 
Junior 2 - ages 13 to 16
(The total playing time is a maximum of 15 minutes)
 
First Round 
Two pieces of different characters or a large form (for example, sonata movements).
 
Second Round
First movement of a concert or a virtuoso piece.
